Travel by sleeper train to discover famous history in and around Luxor, visiting some of the most important relics of Ancient Egypt. Firstly, visit the Valley of the Kings, which most tourists visit and where most of the tombs of the New Kingdom Pharaohs are located, the Temple of Hatshepsut is one of the most beautiful of the royal mortuary temples, the two Colossi of Memnon.

Tour Plan

01
Day 1:Cairo Airport & Transfer to your Hotel in Cairo
Upon arrival in Cairo, our Min Travel representative will assist you through passport control formalities, luggage identification & portage will greet you. You will be transferred by a private A/C car or mini-bus to your hotel to check in and Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: (B+L+ D)Visits Pyramids of Giza - Egyptian Museum - Sleeper Train to Luxor
Following breakfast, check out of the hotel. The day starts with a guided tour in Giza to visit the legendary majestic Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerionos to view these spectacular man-made monuments. Afterward, a time of the great Sphinx; guarding the Royal Burial Chambers and the temple of Cheops.
Next is a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, established in 1902, near the city center of Cairo. On display is a rare collection of 5,000 years of art — the world’s largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art. Finally, the end of-the-day tour transferred to the rail station to board an overnight sleeper train to Luxor.

Day 3: (B)Arrival Luxor - Visit the Valley of the Kings & Temple of Hatshepsut
Arrive in Luxor, and check in to the hotel. The day starts with a guided tour of the Valley of the Kings, where the ancient mummies have been discovered the Valley of the Kings has two components – the East Valley and the West Valley, it is the East Valley that most tourists visit and where most of the tombs of the New Kingdom Pharaohs are located.
The tour ends with a visit to the Temple of Hatshepsut named Deir El Bahari, one of the most beautiful of the royal mortuary temples, and the two Colossi of Memnon. After that, return to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free for leisure Overnight in Luxor.

Day 4: (B+D)Visits the Temple of Karnak & Temple of Luxor - Sleeprt Train to Cairo
Optional: Hot Balloon Over Luxor.
Following breakfast, check out of the hotel. The day starts with a visit to the Temple of Karnak. It is a city of temples built over 2000 years and dedicated to the Theban triad of Amon, Mut, and Khonsu. For the largely uneducated ancient Egyptian population, this could only have been the place of the gods. It is the mother of all religious buildings, the largest ever made, and a place of pilgrimage for nearly 4,000 years.
In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Luxor, which is close to the Nile and parallel to the riverbank. King Amenhotep III who reigned 1390-53 BC, built this beautiful temple and dedicated it to Amon-Re, king of the gods, his consort Mut, and their son Khonsu, in the evening transferred to the railway station to board the sleeper train to Cairo.

Day 5: (B+L)Arrival Cairo - Tour to Citadel, Old Cairo & Khan El Khalili Bazaars
Arrive at Cairo railway station. Your guide for the day will pick you up and begin your guided tour in Islamic Cairo – we start at the Citadel Fortress with a visit to the Mohammed Ali Mosque (the Alabaster mosque). The Citadel was built by Salah-El-Din, in the 12th Century and was the seat of power for the following 700 years. On the premises is the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, one of the landmarks of Cairo whose minaret can be seen from any part of the city. The Mohammed Ali mosque was built in Turkish style and very similar to the Blue Mosque in Turkey.
Our next stop is in Coptic Cairo, home of some of the oldest Christian churches in the world, and retraces the steps where Mary and Joseph walked thousands of years ago. Firstly, visit the Hanging Church, also known as El Muallaqa, which was dedicated to the Virgin Mary and was believed to have been built at the end of the 3rd century on the outer wall you will see the Greek Church of St. George.
Following is a visit to the Church of St. Sergius, a perfect example of a Coptic church and monastery it was founded at the end of the 4th century and it stands on a crypt that is said to have sheltered the holy family during their flight from Egypt.
Our tour will conclude with a visit to St. Barbara’s Church, built between the 4th and 5th centuries. It has preserved the ruins of Saint John.
Next on our agenda is a visit to the Khan El Khalili Bazaars. Finally, at the end of the day the tour transferred you to the hotel Overnight in Cairo.

Day 7: (B)Transfer to Cairo Airport & Final Departure
After breakfast, at the hotel, our Min Travel representative will pick you up. Then, transfer you to the airport and assist you at the airport, through final departure.
